Newest Creation... Enjoy! =)

Thank heaven for little girls =)

Happy Thursday =)

Simple Fact of Life =)

This just so happens to be one of those emails we get on a regular basis that says you should forward to a 100 people in 100 seconds and your prince charming will come riding up on a horse. Yeah, well, no prince charming, no need to forward, just enjoy and always remember to smile =)

Except for a bump in the road, today has been a good day =)

Today's song: "Danza Kuduro" Don Omar & Lucenzo.
Find someone to dance with and enjoy =)

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history when you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day...

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

15. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Bud Lite than Kay.

17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

22. Sometimes I'll look down at my cell phone 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

24. The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

Channeling the Inner Chefs :)

I've been at this cake thing for over three years now (Wow! Time flies!) and each cake differs from the next. This allows the mommy to have a truly unique gift each and every time. Over the years, my creativity has been channeled from a very good friend of mine, Laura. She is my muse and inspiration when it comes to scrap-booking and creativity or even a helping hand with the hot glue gun :-)
And I guess over time, I've managed to rub off on her as well.
Here is her creation :-)

Good job!! :-)

Baby Shower Diaper Cake Centerpieces

A while ago, I meant a mommy to be who was planning her son's baby shower. Her vision was inspired by a cake she saw online and we took it a step further. After a couple of weeks of hard work, the mommy's vision and our collaboration, we designed 13 gorgeous centerpieces for the baby shower. And here they are:

Final look of the hall was gorgeous! The baby boy decided it was his time and arrived two days before his baby shower.  He's doing great and mommy is enjoying her time with her little angel. The baby shower was great! Good food, great music and lots of love from everyone who came. Thank you for inviting me and congratulations on your baby boy! :)

Life... Or Something Like It.

Every so often, life throws us a curve ball. What do you do? Do you run from the opportunity and the change or do you embrace it?

I found this picture online, so here is some food for thought:

"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful, it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful, it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident, it is inspiriting because the challenge exists to make things better."
- King Whitney Jr.

And when new opportunities come up,
is the grass really greener on the other side?
How many times have you regretted a decision you've made after choosing what you thought would be better in the end?

I've learned that things happen for a reason... Never regret anything that once made you smile. Never fight for something that ever made you cry. Always appreciate what you have and never envy anyone else. Your simple pleasure may be something they may be missing.

I'd like to think that the grass is greener on MY side :)
